My mechanic recommended that I change the muffler bearings in my car last time I was in there, but I turned him down and said I'd do it myself. Never could find any of them, though- must be a dealer only part or something. Where did you find those ones? They look universal fit, might work on mine.![]()

So did those come with the Johnson rod or were yours still in good shape?Always a good time to check the Fetzer valve too when installing new muffler bearings. Dont forget the left handed screw driver and the relative bearing grease
