Default I have added this from my other thread

While you guys are 'fixin' things.... take a moment and send an email (a nice one) to this guy for a good purpose and SPREAD THE WORD!

It does NOT sound like its over for Lake Berryessa just yet:

Stop Bill HR 5545. Support Lake Berryessa as a National Recreation Area. Contact Chairman Rodney Frelinghuysen, House Committee on Appropriations, Subcommittee on Energy and Water Development, Rayburn House Office Building, Washington, D.C. 20515 or email

    daniel.ostermueller@mail.house.gov

COPY AND PASTE THE FOLLOWING INTO AN EMAIL: (to the above address)

    Chairman Rodney Frelinghuysen
    House Committee on Appropriations
Subcommittee on Energy and Water Development
    Rayburn House Office Building
    Washington, D.C. 20515

    Dear Mr. Frelinghuysen,

I am a concerned recreational boater living within the greater Lake Berryessa region and I along with many other citizens feel that HR5545 is not in the best interest of the area, region or the state and is affecting the economic growth and well being of all. It will also take away our rights as citizens to open and available public lands that we as taxpayers have the right to visit. Please stop HR5545 and work towards making Lake Berryessa a designated National Recreation Area, which will support its purpose and use as a water recreation destination for all to enjoy.

This is why I refuse to move to California!!!! When Mohave Generating Station shut down due to environmentals, love the power shortage now, I was force to transfer and went to Blythe and live in the last place I thought I would, Quartzsite. This is what's wrong with Calif and the country!!! It's only the beginning. What's that conspiracy theory agenda 21 or ???

100% gunner. People ask why jobs are going over seas, this is why. I work directly with these assholes and can tell story AFTER story of how the cost has quadrupled just by being forced to have a study done because its located on a dirt road, BLM land, 20' off a traveled road, bird nest within 100' of a job, wash within 50', etc...

common people we need help to keep Lake Berryessa open to us motor boaters and not the tree huggers and the Sierra Club, and the hikers and kyakers and the canoers, lets keep our lake available and alive with our noisy boats

Snow Mountain is in our county. They better not try to stop OHV access, now we have to pass on the word to the locals in Lake County. Lake Berryessa too, boats. Dam greenies. This means war.

Any and all Emails and Letters WILL make a difference, this is a National issue, not just regional - because if we can get them to make it a NATIONAL Park rather then a STATE park then it has to be open to ALL.... and CALIFORNIA loses total control over it. So help us out... This lake and area needs your support. We really need to make a good second effort here....

If nothing else we can tie this up for years to come in court and the judicial process and we can enjoy
