Default Ode to Flatt Bottom Tuesday

Aw, the alarm….but I don’t want to get up. Oh, damn it I’ll get up now! Stumble to the bathroom turn the light on, really would like to go back to bed? Wait a minute, something is different about today!! Eyes get wider, smile gets brighter and I remember…….Its flat bottom Tuesday!
Enjoy your day and I’ll see ya at the lake tonight! Tune in tomorrow for your favorite Idaho Boating and Safety Officer “Speedboat Racer”……

    Default Great pics!

Great pics. Nice to see what things look like from the beach at Lucky Peak. Your pictures show the true "Caveman mentality " in all of us "V drive nut balls" Hey we better ge" Speedracers boat fixed or we may be without a lot of safety messages from him this summer. Remember "Safety first" well put by his faith full sidekick!!!

    Default Back on the water!!!!

Good to see that boat back on the water where she belongs. I was starting to think that she was getting a little lake shy. I hope she ran as well as you expected and no fuel leaks. Sorry I couldn't make it last night. I had to protect the public from themselves(It was a busy shift). I did get the 18 gears installed but haven't had a chance to take the Sanger out yet. I hope to make it next week as I'm on vacation from work for a couple of weeks.

As a matter of fact that is true, the only boats in the ramp were flatties and some guy with a bass boat sittin in the entry, well ya know the blown deal does not idle for shit, never the less no faster or diffrent than any other time but the guy in the bass boat is big chief...... did not a say shit to me he ate Chingus (nuke me) out for the hole deal..... so who knows I called our fearless leader RCL and let him know what was up and was told his stuff is legal, and can not stand the noise of the blown deals anyhow, and I am on my own with this one hmmm. So called our leader at the sherrifs office and discussed the matter, was told we are on the last straw, not from just this but the last tues we had some other issues mainly dock edicut.... to resolve the issue we have to get together and sit down with the head honchoes or we are done with deal, 90 percent of the boats we are running are not legal and it will be over T

Tone...gotta blower goin on the wife's lake boat...so I think what I said was "never liked the zoomies"...for these reasons..I figured they would be the demise of the Tuesday deal...make sense?...Zoomies are for the racetrack...and Iv'e said it to all who have them....

I have said it several times...we don't have a "noise pass"..never had and never will...once somebody bitched enough...we would be done. So meeting with the Sheriff or Corp of Engineers would be compromise at best...we have never been above the law..we were tolerated...and apparently that guy that was up there last night..he might be the guy to take it all away...

And the legal comment is true...I worked on this deal for the whole...keeping in mind that when it did end..I could still go...call it selfish if ya want..
