Sorry I haven't Shared it sooner! I've been working on it for 3 Years on and off, now that I have the motor in for the last time and the Carbon fiber work on the floor and stringers is completed its FULL BORE now thru this winter until its done, IM not going to miss another Summer not driving it!

Carbonman:

Simply awesome. I have a 69 Rayson LP wooddecker. Your boat is the closest to mine I have ever seen. Can you post some more of the "before" pics, including the transom and cav plate hardware?

Also, did the wood deck always extend to the gunwale, as it does now? I haven't seen that before.

Different is an understatement...it takes allot to impress me anymore because I am old...but this boat is simply awesome...the first person I saw do the low gunwale in wood was one of the Miller boys but I love the way this looks...it will be a little tougher to keep things off of it...but I love it.

Congrats for thinking outside the box...and making it all work

Mike Yes! I have thought about it many times, I have the set of logs that came with the boat if you look at the first pics of the post there are no risers on them, IM worried that with no risers I can screw up my motor getting water in it? the Motor now is a 496---650 HP instead of a stock 454, I also worried about exhaust restriction thru the old logs being too small, I have seen Headers that go up like this and then back down in to the hull, that and these are big tube so it should breath good, do you think it will look bad when finished using these Headers????

With utmost respect to you...and if you ever meet me you can shoe me in the nuts...but I am begging you with everything I have to stop the header project...it is a mistake...and I have the duty as a fellow v-driver to tell you...please realize I am doing this so guy's quit texting me to tell you not to do it...I know you have big bucks in it...but you can sell them to a guy with an enclosed motor...and put logs on it..

Again...with utmost respect for the work you have done...
