Picked this up this week to start putting together, it went straight to the glass shop. Anyone know the history of this boat...last CA sticker was from 2001. Had purple flames in front to gray base in back.

Been a while since I posted anything, progress slowed down due to some health issues...

Motor is getting together at Ricks and got everything else done. Nick Valore at Madskillz Fab customized my tank and is going to come over tonight to go over fabricating a base and straps to keep it in.

Boat looks great.

These build threads are awesome to look back from the beginning---seeing faded stripped cast off hulls & watching the progress to a show piece....Seeing how much time has passed from then to now!!

Lots of hard work and the level of craftsmanship from paint to hardwear to engine is top notch--

Love the black satin finish. I have done two of my billet v-drives in black satin and want to do more that way.

Your boat is looking really nice, I just saw this thread and wanted to comment that the dolly trailer you put it on was mine. I built it years ago and the reason it looks new is it sat in my garage with my Mako flat on it for nearly 20 years and never saw the light of day, nor did the boat. Phil and his son who bought my boat loved the trailer but had just had a round tube trailer built for their other boat before buying my boat. I have seen a couple pictures of my old boat on the "pipe" trailer and I gotta say I liked it on the one I built much better but its not mine anymore so I got no say. Glad to see it looks like it went to a good home in the end, I hope they gave you the small entry step with it that slides in and pins from behind.

I did get the step, and I am fabricating a handle for me to grab while launching utilizing the the same hole. The trailer is getting fenders and Billy Agreed to paint it black before he moves to Needles and the purple ano is going to Monster Energy Green. You did a great job on it...the detail is amazing!
