Billy B is working hard to keep the NRKA alive!
He got another original back out on the water last week.
Freedom came up for sale and Billy found a buyer who would have the passion to maintain and take care of her as well as she had been for almost forty years.
The boat had not been on the water in a while and needed a little TLC to get it back out there.
All in all the boat was in great shape but he used his eye for detail and made some changes that would set it up for reliable river duty. Billy managed the updates on the boat including finding it a bitchen original road trailer and touching up a few nicks in the paint. It looks brand new now, cant see where any work was done. Also re-working the plumbing, electrical, and fuel systems. In the process he had an expert work on the tune up at Krazy Kolors. Billy re-set the plates and went through the rest of the boat to make sure it was sound. Billy's set up was great and the boat is a piece of cake to drive. You can plate it and bury the bow underwater in a corer and fly out of the with the blades wide open and the boat just goes. It will be seeing some serious run time this summer, and hopefully will run around in Needles later in the year.
Billy really knocked the clean-up and set-up out of the park, and we appreciated his help getting this thing dialed in.
Thanks again Billy!
