I'll be the first to take a stab. It's a Sanger Catalina. Fairly rare boat and appears to be in nice shape. I don't like blurry pics that are not up close and detailed. In other words, pull the seats and lets look at the install. With that being said..he isn't asking much for it either. A couple of concerns would be, did he really just smoke a bearing..or is it worse.

Next concern is the trailer. It appears to not fit the boat very well. If you look at the rear of the trailer it looks to be a jet boat or I/O trailer.

Otherwise this boat looks to have real potential..

i could not find any to compare it to so .. thats why i asked.. i noticed the trailer myself... he said he ran it on 10 year old oil .. after he bought it. he had to run it.. im not too fond of the paint either.. but it looks mint.. but as you said whats under the seats and carpet ., he said it was redone before he got it and sat in a garage for a while...

I went to look at this boat, looks overall in decent shape, but the stringers are soft, and some of the rigging needs attention. Paint os old but in decent shape, interior is pretty nice, wood is still good. It's probly not a speed demon, but probly keeps up with lake traffic at around 55-60mph. Yea the trailer could hold a boat twice that size, big and solid. The guy is older, kids are grown up, and is looking to move it.

This boat was for sale about a couple months back for $2500 turn key and running good. This new owner smoked the motor and wants more $$$ Now the boat needs stringers, and the motors smoked! What an added bounus
