    Not in my experience. Just take out the three bolts, pop the cover loose. Its probably fine, It would have burned up a bearing already if it wasn't.

    What brand of blower is it ?? The end plate is not a Littlefield. What does the GT stand for ???

    The back of the blower says says littlefield blowers not a stamp it is raised lettering in the mold

    I run about 12 qts. of synthetic gear oil in my blower cases, but you have to use special end cases. Acme Johnson built mine.
