    You already have the boat. Build the type of motor you want in the boat and see if it works the way you want it to. If not, .yank the motor, sell the boat and go get the the boat you think will work. Give the Howard a chance...You may be surprised. After all they are pretty cool.

    i think i will be happier with a runner bottom for what everyone says. i dont want to spend a bunch of money on a boat that i will never be happy with. cause the howard could use paint to really be what i want.
