PM sent on someone to call about Roosevelt details. Don't forget to ask about launching options.

have you ever been to Banks Lake? That is where we spend two weeks in the summer It is a huge lake and you can either stay at Steamboat Lake State Park or Banks lake resort or Coulees playland (which would be the last resort). It is close to Grand Coulee and Lake Roosevelt.

    Default banks lake

fathers day weekend at sun banks resort there is boat races and i have been there in the past. it is a great place to stay. they have cabins and rooms for rent or rv spots or tent spots you can stay at.. it is really close to grand coulee only about 5 mins. or less. on the southern end of banks lake there miles of lake where there is no water smoky bears and you can let all hang out. that would be south of steamboat camp grounds

Default Banks lake = good times

We've been going to banks on labor day for about 5 years now, camping at sunbanks resort. Our normal east side location are Vantage, floating the river through Wenatchee, Eniat, lake pateros. Even ventured up the okanogan river last year the 75 degree water was pretty sweet. One of the guys we boat with ventured up last labor day with his fountain and commented that we had to go back this year. So, I'm searching for cool spots to hit and/or avoid.

Thanks Davedog for the number I'll be callin soon.

We've been to Roosevelt twice. Once the river was full and lots of garbage in it and the other time it was real low but clean. Camped at the RiverRue Campground at Keller Ferry. Nice place, but a real long drive to get there. We're going to stick a little closer to home this year. Rather burn the fuel in the boat, not the truck.
