Moving to Washington or Oregon

Hey guys my name is Bryan aka Dominator. My wife wants to move to WA or OR. I told her sure as long as there was some boating going on it wouldnt be a problem.

My question to the N West Coast is whats up? Are you guys like us here and have gatherings and races like we do down in here in AZ? Please let me know what down low is. I would like to hear from everyone who is into boating.

There are tons of places to boat in WA ID and OR. I am sure some others will chime in but I have been all over WA and ID for 25 years, in fact I am going up there in two weeks to hang at our lake place up there. We can talk about it over some beers if you want to get together.

I'm about 35 miles northeast of Seattle and we have a few good places to boat. Our local spot is the Snohomish river near Everett, but there are many other lakes around and for big weekends you can shoot over the pass and go to a number of places on the eastern side.

Hey Bryan ~

I'm from SoCal and visiting Washington State for the 4th. We drove from Seattle to Spokane (90E?) today and saw some amazing waterways! Just from the highway we saw tons of boaters on the Columbia River (it's a BIG river), as well at Lake Moses and Pothole resevior. Several other lakes were un-named, but folks were out having a blast! Air temp ranged from high 80's to low 100's and minimal wind.

The only downside, is that the fun looks to be summer only if you like hanging out trunks and playing in the water. Google Lakes of Washinton State for additional fun spots!

Until Mar of last year, I lived all over Washington and Oregon. I am also local to Chandler and would be willing to talk about what those states have to offer. Just let me know when you want to get both the advantages/dis-advantages to the NorthWet. (<-not a typo)

Cruzer, I might you at Sag 2 weeks ago. I was in the 514 stroker Tahiti orange and white with a big straw hat on. You going sunday to Sag? I would like to further the convo if possible.

I will be in WA in a few weeks. Wont have a boat with me but would like to know if I could possibly catch a ride in a sled to a gathering or something like that. I will be in Lake Forest Park.
