Default Spokane Valley is burning down

Excessive winds have caused several homes to be torched in the valley. Shelter is being provided by University High School right behind our house. Sad situation. We are At CdA right now watching the news and can't see the West side of the lake from the East Side -smoke from this fire.

Crud. Sportin' Wood's brother and family just moved up there. I'll have to give them a call.

I was there on a brush truck were it started ,we didnt do so good stopping it. we were up to our ass in alligators. We were about 100ft behind it the first 30mins, then it was like chasing something down a hill as it picks up speed. Still dont know how bad it is as we have not seen the news yet. I need some sleep.

we live less than a mile from where it started. That fire was nasty! Saw a few VERY nice homes go up in flames. Latest news is that the City/County are not going to prosecute the teenager and property owner responsible for starting it, but a neighbor has filed a lawsuit against them.

    Default fire

I live in the development where it started. The DNR will probably sue for fire fighting costs and people are getting in line to sue. It couldn't happen to a bigger POS.She deserves all the lawsuits. Mike
