There is a launch at Harrison and it is a pretty good one. We will have lots of space for trailer parking.

I think we got this event confused with another one. Does the Regatta include a poker run (or has it in the past)? For some reason we thought this was on August 1 and plan on bringing a 30' Chaparral Villian IV over from Montana. However, the only event we can find for August 1 on Lake Coeur D'alene is this one:

August 1: St. Maries - Boat Club Poker Run St. Maries. Boat Poker run starts on the St. Joe River in St. Maries traveling to the designated stops on Lake Coeur d' Alene then Harrison to turn in your hands. Prizes awarded. Annual event sponsored by the St Joe River Boat Club. 208-245-3563

Has anyone ever been to this event? Will there be any big HP boats there? Should we just skip this event and come to the Regatta on August 15?

I've never done the St. Maries event but I have talked to people that have and it's more or less an "all boats" event with very few, if any, performance boats per se.

Thats fine that there is all kinds of boats in the poker run. At least we know we won't be the slowest :) I just hope it is a pretty good party regardless.

Does anyone know if the Regatta on August 15th is still happening? When we called the Harrison marina to get a slip for the poker run the woman on the phone thought it had been canceled this year. Does anybody have contact information for the Regatta organizers?

Working with Rosie's to be our food/beverage provider. The raffle will be in the Park this year.

Saturday:
Show and shine on the docks 10AM - 8PM
Raffle 4PM (also Auction of a few select items)
Event T-shirts and raffle tickets for sale all day.

If you want a good spot for the boat I suggest showing up Friday.

There is the Lake Roosevelt Poker Run on Aug 1 starting at McCoy's at 11:00. Not specific to performance boats, but there are always quite a few out there.

Looking forward to the Regatta, like Mike said, you probably want to get there on Friday.

Where are you from? I was in Havasu and talked to quite few people about it over the last 6 months and Clownroyal is down all the time too.

and my wife was telling you about our trip to Kelowna for way too long (so it seemed)

I've gotta get some new employees and fast. Always wanted to boat a little bit farther north than Cascade or McCall. Just haven't had a good reason until now.

Coeur d' Alene is my favorite Summer spot in the world. Best Summer boating too
