there is a really great one just south of moses lake washington. it is at pot holes lakes and the camping sight is called mandan (sp). this on labor day weekend. it is open to all who have performance boats from the v-drive to the jet to the outboard. for more details i would pm jork.
Tastin and Racin in Issaquah WA, second weekend of June. Saturday there is a hot boat show and shine, also also APBA circle races all weekend. Car show on sunday. Always a good time.
Try cdbaracing.com. Walk through the pits for your show/shine. Watch the drags as a bonus. Events start in June and go through Sept,

OCM's Poker Run in July usually has a lot of nice hardware in attendance!!!!

Patyacht, thanks for the info. Great boats there, but I'm more into the small flats/hotrod/drag style boats. If It was near by I'd go....thanks
I used to be a member also, then I moved to the sun. Some of the CDBA members have gatherings on off/non-race weekends. Might ask this question of those members you know.

I'm in the Portland area and we make a few trips to the John Day River to let loose. Also spend time on the Columbia on the weekends with a the jet. There are some heavy hitters that run the river with us.

VoodooCanoe, I would love to be racing now but need to learn how to operate a v-drive. This is my first boat. I don't know how long it'll take but when I feel comfortable I'm there!!!!
Can't wait for that day.Where is John Day River?
