    Default Camping

If you want to do the camping thing...take the time and go to Upper Priest. The only way you can camp there is to hike in or boat in. The camping and fishing is just great. No crowds..great camping and not a far drive. We have also boated down the St. Joe. Had to launch in St. Maries because my hydro will not make it through the middle of CDA. The St. Joe is also great..Last summer we went to Roosevelt for the first time...think that might be the last. Too choppy and windy for me and the camping is nothing like Upper Priest..

We went to Roosevelt last year over Labor Day and had a good time.
I went down the big ass slide like 20 times, got to see a lot of boobs (not all my wifes) and had just a good time.

Thought about doing it again this year for the 4th.

    Default Banks Lake

There is another guy here on the boards to lives in Spokane. He always goes to Banks Lake over by Roosevelt. Never been there but he says the water is always warm and flat. Have you ever been there? Also where is this slide your talking about...

I'm headed over there tommorow, I'll take a tape and MEASURE it out. The trailer that's on it would do in a pinch for a summer or two, but when I saw it before the kids cleaned it up it was pretty ruff

The slide is this 200ft man made, huge ass slip and slide.
Water is pumped up a big hill onto a "huge ass slip and slide".

You get a good run at it dive face first down the "huge ass slip and slide",
200 feet later and 40 mph you hit a jump... you fly through the air
for about 40 feet and hope like hell all your sh!t stays on when you
    land in the lake..

Good times.... a short clip from last labor day (not me in the video).
The second one is a link to some photos. It looks like it could have been last labor day as well.

Looks to be too small for anything over a 20 footer even if you bull dozed it as it sits right now. Mike told me it was a lot and a half but it is stiil too small for anything I'd want. The only upside is it's deeded land. I've got a buddy of mine that's grading 40 acres across the wash from this place. It's gonna have 110 homesite lots in the development, IF they can ever get on the same page with La Paz county bldg. dept. I'll keep you posted on this as it goes along.
