Today, I was gutting out the running gear in my Stevens and decided to call Dan Creek an see what he was doing! He, Steve & Holly Carlson were going down to Twin Falls to stick their boats in the water for a few adjustments and oh by the way could you bring a straight bar and help me adjust my plate!!
Both boats ran great, not quite enough on Dan's plate yet, another trip! Went for a ride in Steve's TR-2, it's a hard straight runner with 850 + HP, he can't wait to run it a Lucky Peak!! Drove Dan's boat helping sort out the plate, plenty of Blown Chevy HP and a bit of a handful, we'll get it!! Now back to the shop and work some more on the Stevens yet this evening!!
Cheers, Spudz
PS- Still trying to determine what make Dan's flatbottom is!!
Friday I saw a pretty all metallic blue Flat bottom going north on Hwy.93 out of Twin Falls pulled by older Suburban (same paint). Any locals have an ideas, someone new to the area, I've never seen it before.
Fall is upon us but Steve says he wants to make at least one more outing with his Cole this season, He's hoping Dan will take the Byers out again also. Next season I'm hoping to be able to join them with one of my rides!!
Have a good winter, see you next spring............................................ ........
I was just here today and go? Damn was it nice . Couldn't have been a better day to be on the snake . Just curious how far you guys go up the canyon we probly went like 1000 feet past the coutious sighn before it we turned around .
I was almost shocked to see this thread still alive!!!!!!!!!!!! Rebel30, I'm assuming your talking about Twin Falls? If thats the case you went as far as you could............its not very long but a nice ride when theres not a bunch traffic!
I see you own a Biezer squirt boat, what year? Way back I built engines for a guy from Phoenix that owned the first jet Biesemeyer drag boat, unblown gas jet!
