We raced Woodburn a few time when we were running asphalt cars. Great track and great people running it.. Gotta love Oregon though. Hear they pass out WD-40 for sun tan lotion!!!

that looks like fun. i loved going to the track with my mustang, id imagine loving going to the track with my boat too, even though its slow.

This was about a month ago, Woodburn is a real nice track
Yep! Still old school cool. And why AHDRA..(nitro Harleys), told old S.I,R., now Pacific raceway, to f-off. The HD drags there, were, at one time, a big "Benefit ride", for the kids hospital, before the race. They came into the track, parade, did the strip, and all bikes allowed to park just about anywhere they wanted. Then that ended, and we were regulated back to the parking lot, and walk in. Guess had a lot to do with "911", then, as ya now bikers are "terrorist" anyway. So now, AHDRA does Woodburn instead. Fine with me, as I care less what the new owners did with old S.I.R. Heck, even the "Vintage, "SOVERN", races, which my bro races with a 56 Alfa, comes up from NorCal, only comes to P.I.R now. I'm 1/2 way from either, and I'll do Woodburn, hands down, any day now!
Great pic! As yep, down there ya had a chithouse of steady rain a bit back. Didn't know, those with Jet boats, could have .."got a time slip!
