Beer30 is parked out in a garage in Havasu , waiting for DesertStorm. I have already missed having it here (last weekend). After the poker run, we are bringing it back, so no local boating until then.

But, its garage is getting built in the mean time, so it is actually good that it's not here.

    Sorry, no BV for me.

Between Bakersfield and Taft. It's out off of I-5, about 25 or so miles from the base of the Grapevine.

Don't forget its most shining details - it has a 35 MPH speed limit that is mostly unenforced, and it is about thre feet deep so you can't hardly drown. You will, however, throw a lot of muck on your kids getting them up on skis

I should note, she didn't think it was all that funny.....

That's the "not enforced" part. Of course, the lake lice also figure it out, although slowly and get out there going backwards in the boating area

The back side of the lake is 45. As long as you are not going over it repeatedly, no body cares. I have done a few 60+ blasts down through there.

I was in a certain 26' cat when it was brand new and did much faster than that.

And it's rare to see a 26 FOOT one also. Although, they did wrestle a 62-pound catFISH out of that lake.
