meade vessel assist or something like it?

we live out on the socal coast, but are thinking of buying a second home in vegas, for various reasons, not the least of which is we love boating in the desert lakes and river, but there are other good reasons, too.

anyway, we have been boating for the last three years with no subscription to a towing service like vessel assist, but we are getting tired of pressing our luck and are thinking of joining vessel assist... BUT... looking at their service map, they don't seem to have any coverage of lake meade. mohave and havasu, yes... but for some reason not meade.

any other suggestions?

i signed up with them last year
after not having anything for 6 years with my current boat but at the same time never need to be towed in
after goin all season without being towed in i went to Havasu during the monster bash poker run and needed to get towed in because the started wouldnt engage so i got my moneys worth
anyways i could be wrong but i kinda remember them saying something about if they arnt on a certain inland lake that they will cover the bill of a tow you just gotta pay up front?
could be wrong but you might wanna give them a call and ask
