Doe's any one with efi that has run this lake notice that ur boat doe's not perform very well ther I have 22 daytona 509 efi with dustin whipple maping/tuning an it runs like sh$%t ther

Not sure EFI alone is the problem. I run a stock Merc GEN VI BBC with EFI and no super charger at elevations between 1,535 (Castaic) and 6,225 (Tahoe) with no problems at all. As might be expected at higher elevations I lose 10-15 mph, but the boat runs great on a Bravo 1 24P 4-blade prop.

My boat runs a little slower up there. I have a 525hp. Not much though. Probably a 5 mph difference. But. that's at 35 mph. LOL.

Went to Castaic today and my boat would only run 35-40 mph. Must be too many po-pos on the water.

yea hahahahah 35mph both thes lakes are funny like that but nothing more fun then trying to do a speed run an not get cought
