Engine placement in TX19?

Boat seams real wet after talking to several folks, some previous owners too, it seems it's still kinda still in the air, where I should place my motor in my Tx19, some say its a matter of personnel preference? boat weighs around 420 and I make right at 750hp na, plus a 300 shot. It has a AB stainless with inducer, loader and all the performance norms. I Think it has 2 degree wedge now but not for sure? No diverter....I could give a shit less about a gay ass rooster tail, it has a race nozzle on now, but I have a place diverter if necessary? So, 21 inches from transom or 26 is the big question? One of the reputable owners said in the pic below with him driving he said it needed more wedge! Motor is set at 26 inches from transom in all pics below. Boat ran 107-108 with a 555 and a 400 shot. At around 800ft mark is what I was told.

My motor is 26.5...i run 3*wedge,droop,divertor...launches hard and flys high.

As to the OP - Most everyone is out on the lake enjoying their sleds right now. You'll probably get more responses Sunday night or later on like Monday or Tuesday. Far as I can tell - there are no secrets around this bunch! Everyone is willing to help everyone else. Most of lake racing relies on the takeoff for the win. We all like big engines and most have nitrous for a lil more.

I've ask every question that could be ask and just get confused. No two boats are the same. My clean out is half out of the boat motor coupled close as possible to the pump gas tanks all the way to the back half droop 3.125 nozzle 1.5 top loader A Aggressor impeller @ 5800rpms and leaves like a bat out of you know where. But only runs 95mph. Some catch me some don't. Heck it's all fun. Both the white and yellow are faster than me. Play with it and run it often!!!!

Not much action here on weekends.

I went and measured mine and I'm 21" from the transom. My boats a turd though, it's heavy @ 680lbs minus interior. Takes off like shit but runs ok

And haven't seen to many GW that didn't run a Diverter.

Lol! Mine runs a jet a way and a 1310 shaft with a half setback pump. About 24.25 to 24.5 motor set

weight placement has a big effect on these boats.

mine although a lighter boat and a 18 gullwing with my wife(150lbs)in the side seat makes mine run way flat.

with my fat(280)ass in there it not only takes off better but runs much drier.

yes there is a difference in a way a 19 and 18 carry there selfs.

imo the first pic of the boat with 2 peeps in it should be null and void.

Ol boat looks heavier than a "light layup". Sure ain't riding like 1. Weight it and see what it is. Might be surprised !!!!! Just sayin
