Moved mine up to 26" from transom to back of block. Helped out a bunch, but now gotta retune hardware for more lift..

That's what I have heard on a TX-19 about 26"

WELLLLLLL finally got my pump and parts finished up as well as rounded up, had to look for some older seals and stuff. i guess i will try and get my pump put back together before this weekend and start looking at what I am gonna have to do to move the motor and the seat, i just hope that my braided hoses are going to be long enough for the motor to move lol, they are all brand new and i would hate to have to buy all new b/c they are four inches too short lol. maybe moving the motor up will help on takeoff, the pump pulls hard, but the nose comes up WAY high, and wants to bounce a lil. If i shift it up too quick racin, it will air the pump out quick.

i had to move that bench seat forward a bit when i put the blown 475bbc in it josh, but the side stuck up above the hull a tad, maybe a inch.if you look under it you can see where i took off wood from the base to allow it to sit down alil.you can look at that lil bulkehead in frt of the balancer and see how far the lower blower pulley sat, i had to u the bulkhead to clear the blower pulley
