Just got off the phone with Jim @ Sonny Bryant...

Good thing I am working 70-80 hours a week!

That bad-boy billet crank is ORDERED!

Now a waiting game on the crank and my intake when 42Johnny gets done with it! Soon as those are in, Scotty can assemble the monster! It oughta live with this crank inside!

Doesn't look like I'll have it together in time for the April gathering, but by mid-May it should be through Gear's dyno and back in the boat...

    One step closer!!!!!!
Jim's cool, they build our 800 cubic inch 5" bore space cranks. Great to deal with. 👍

    Default Jim @ Sonny Bryant

Yes, and talk about outstanding customer service! Been keeping me updated via email - even on his day off! Sure - I kinda expect great CS for what it costs, but it really is nice! He said all it needs now is polishing and it'll be on its way!

    Default Almost ready Gearhead!

I got a look at a piece of automotive jewelery today. 3800.00+ of crankshaft - courtesy of Sonny Bryant! It LOOKS awesome...I can say that. It's all in the hands of Scott now - except for the intake - which I can give up on.

I will now order a new one and write off the one I sent to California. There goes 1000.00.

Oh well. I called, texted, spoke to and got promises multiple times. Can't wait forever.

Ordering a new intake and moving on.

    Won't be long!!!!
