my Harley Motors all run worse.

My motor is set-up for Premium(good Gas)
my wifes Motor is set-up for premium
2 of dads bikes are premium users only!

he has 1 that is mainly stock and it pings with Premuim.

sure we can adjust things but to only lose more and more power!!!!!!!!

shit my bike was set-up on Kill for 93 and Know i have to add Octane booster and everything but the kicthen sink to get it to run right.

so if ethanol adds octane WHY!!!!!!!


all of our vehicles get worse and worse gas mileage with this Pump gas ethanol content Bullshit


just throwing this post out there as many of you are on this pump gas frenzy and spending a lot of money to set up your new motors on Kill for pump gas that is nothing like Yesteryear


i have many more things that i have personally seen, smelled and tasted that Prove this pump gas Gas we are getting is Junk.

You know Hotbo its like everything else !!! They don't make it like they used to But that being said we "SEEM" to have pretty good fuel in these neck of the woods .. You can find ethanol free fuel and 93 is everywhere .. And it "SEEMS" to burn pretty good in everything I got .. I run 93 in my Harley but alot of guys I ride with run the cheap shit and doesn't seem to bother them .. I have never had a jet boat that I have run 100% pump gas in, they were always 13:1 and wouldn't run on pump gas so I always mixed 110 with some 93 to try to save a buck and then I went to 100% AV and my stuff seemed to like it .. But that was still $4.90 a gallon When premium was at the pump @ $2.95 to $3.10 a gallon ..


What are yal paying for Race Fuel and what octane is it ???? All we have here is 110 VP and it's been staying @ $7.00 a gallon

Sure was !!!! You can pull up to the Airport fuel tanks and fill her up .. I never done it in a 55 gal drum but i wouldn't think it would matter .. You don't have to talk to anybody just need a Credit card .. I have pulled my boat out there and filled up with no problems, just easier to jug it

I have a bud that owns a drag strip and he is selling race fuel cheaper than anyone around! Any octane. I am picking up a barrel just to save a few bucks! 7.00 is what they sell 112 for at the bulk plant but, I think his is around 5.80 a gallon!

so if ethanol adds octane WHY!!!!!!! Because ethanol has an octane rating of 113, adding 10% ethanol to gasoline raises the finished fuel's octane rating by 2 or 3 points, improving the fuel's performance.

my point is, if you dont understand the fuel, and how to adjust afr to make it work, than its all assumptions. sure pumpgas has a small tuning window, but a good tuner can find that window quikly before hurting things, a bad tuner cant.any tom/dick/or harry can tune with racegas, so easy a caveman can do it kinda deal, hugeeeeee tuning window.

WE HAVE ETHANOL FREE FUEL ALSO.

buts its not every wherehow long will it last?

how high do you think premium pump gas will get?

4-4.50 -5.00 even higher it will always keep going up....


ethanol is hard on fuel systems.

we will be getting our Drums from Gearhead and it will depend on the ocatne we need when we Dyno the motor?

im sure 7-8 a gallon.

then mix with Premium and cut it down some more if we can if not Fock it thats what its all about

nothing about boating is cheap

we might can hunt around and find it cheaper like Coby under 6 a gallon



keep saying what you want about good fuel in your neck of the woods and i will keep saying it will all go to SHIT before its over then WHAT?

i have no problem tuning with any gas,lol!!!!


my question is How Good is the Shit and will it stop going down hill or get better

not sayin i know it all trav, jus more than most lol i get that you guys were raised around racegas, i was too but learn the diff fuels before you knock em and understand why guys get hurt on em. you can take the worst tuner and kill a motor with 118 fuel if he's un familiar with what you can do on it and its tuning window. take methanol for example, hugeeeeeee tuning window, so does ethanol.sure 10% ethanol isnt much, i'll agree 210% with you guys it kills mpg, but i personally will run 10% ethanol based 91 over straight 91 anyday, the window is slightly bigger with the 10% ethanol.
honestly, we're getting ****ed at the pumps, i know it, yall know it, but if they go 15% ethanol like they plan too before summer, i'm stoked as long as fuel prices either stay the same they are now or get cheaper.
for boosted guys like me, ethanol is a blessing. its not corrosive like methanol(dont confuse them, nuthn alike), but the ethanol let's me push boost levels to insane pressures most guys would stand in awe of.we were putting 28lbs to pumpgas 91 octane, think bout that, its crazy but it worked/works, made huge power.i'd bust a nut if someone put in a e85 near me, be in hog heavennnnn

briggs gna lose alot of customers then give it 2 more yrs and you wont be able to find a 100% gasoline station anymore in biz.people are genetically cheap and will always price shop even for fuel. your average driver knows nothing bout ethanol at all, all they know is joe blow's gas station is 10cents cheaper a gallon and that's where they buy fuel.there's no theory involved, all ya gta do is look around and it becomes appearent that supply and demand will keep ethanol in fuel for decades to come. i've been to countless gm seminars and classes where engineers will tell ya the same.
