This is pretty much what im thinking of for my new Build(motor)

540 pump gas or Compression build?

i already have some killer heads(Brodix STS CNC ported BB2 plus) that would feed a pump gas 540

if i go compression 540 i would need to drop about 1100 into them(per Foxwell) which still isn't bad!

if i build a 565 they are to small and i would have to drop way to much into them to justify!



so im pretty set on 540 i just cant figure which way on the compression???????


my 498 was a pump gas 10.3 motor and made around 700 and in my boat the 3 times(not counting the blow up shit)it hauled really well and satisfied me.

talking around with my heads and Intake and single Dommy i should put out 800 easy(or close) and that is about 100hp more give or take than i had Granted.


if i go compression the only Draw back is of course running race fuel and i would have to drop a few on the heads for some Upgrades.




my head says be smart go Pump gas save the wallet from what you have already Murdered in the past on this Focking pile!

my Heart(which usually gets me Screwed) says AHHH HELL YEAHHH throw as much as you can 14-15-1 and be somebody




but in reality i would be very very Happy with a 100hp more and a better build,Less money spending and it might satisfy my enough to Shit can my NOS set-upWhich im sick of filling bottles in past.




so i guess i am asking all of you guys what do think?
what would you suggest?

i know im going to get a ton of Bullshit Answers but it will help Kill the time till summer passes since im Boatless!

Where you been man...you sleep thru th dig?

Man I've been just laying low..sure hated missing the dig, just couldn't get away...seems to be how my luck always goes. Hell I haven't even taken the cover off the boat to tinker with it in a couple weeks
