Any timeline on gettin this thing race ready? Did I read that you got a lifejacket in the purchase? What about all the other gear? Dont worry about what all of the others on here will say, starting out, I should have done river racer and just ran it on motor, it is a pain in the ass tryin to take a lake rod that you have been trying to squeeze every mph you can out of it, then having to run motor, a lil nos, lil less diverter, pedal at 800 ft. bla bla bla, just dial in in RR and run the motor all out, then da biatch will be fun and consistant. I am sure I could found a set up that work, but i made lil improvements all the time, so every time i took my lake boat to the races, i had to throw out all my old data from previous races. whatever you do, try to have fun with it!!! Racin can be very stressful, especially if you dont have someone helping you out. I have a great group of family and friends that help me keep my head straight, and make sure the boat is ready between rounds.

That's the plan Josh, we gonna have fun doin it. Where ever the 468 puts me I gonna run it for a bit and over some time build another engine.. I got a lifeline with the boat and over the winter I'll get the other safety gear needed to race. I'm gonna keep this boat a race boat in race setup, it's real light and it won't be seein much river time other than sum test trips. I'm pretty cash poor right now so it's gonna take me sum time to get the boat out but I hope to make a KY lake race next year if everything goes good. The boat is pretty well ready to go for engine to be set in, I'm gonna go through the pump this winter and then just a few minor things that need to be fixed. The boat set for several years so just really needs sum TLC.. If you have any gear your lookin to get rid of give me a Holla. Thanks
