    Sorry you didn't get the numbers you were hoping for. I still think your boat will outrun mine in a straight-up 1000' or a 1/4 mile race due to it's light weight. I'm sure we'll find out...

    If you're gonna run PIZZA or any of the big dogs, you're gonna need the nitrous. Ain't nuthin' wrong with being a bottle baby. Ask ol Chop.

    You will still have one of the most beautiful boats out there and still one of the quickest and fastest. Hold on to yer ass. It's gonna be a hell of a ride regardless...

    Default i am no trying to be the fastest or quickest!

    i could care less about how fast my shit will be or is.

    i dont want anyone thinking that.

    the reason im disappointed was b/c of the #s which in reality mean very little in a sense

    i will have no more bottles in my boat period


    no need for 1 as with what i have will be plenty.


    i will run Piazza and i will run Chop heck ill run every SOB around.

    makes no difference if thats what i want to do.

    if they need to spray to win so be it.

    the main reason so it can be tuned for our Air and we can both run the Oxygenated Fuel VP113 im going to run

    its better than C-12 and not much higher.

    talked with my cam grinder another Stand up guy

    just plain ole Human Error.

    im not going to point the finger at anyone.


    things happen.

    im going to run the boat and if im not satisfied the grinder will fix it period!

    can not beat a deal like that

    but like i told him im very sure it will make me happy so im not going to worry with it anymore


    im going to put this thing in the boat! get the correct impeller and do data. set it up right and let her rip

    Trav were comin up on winter time, fix the mota before you put it in the boat .. If he will make it right, let him make it right !!! I don't see any since in a engine that is screaming for a new cam to go through all the trouble of getting a new/different impeller pullin data just to have to pull the engine back out of the boat(and by then were in summertime) just to maybe havin to change the impeller again.. Fix it 1 time and make it right the 1st time .. If it was me, my engine would still be setting at Gears shop with the cam out of it waitin on the new 1 and put back on the dyno to get the final tune so a impeller could be picked .. But thats just me, if ur happy, I'm happy for ya

    no im going to leave it alone for the time being,if it doesnt perform in the boat i will take him up on his offer.

    the motor will be going in the boat soon.

    sometimes things work out this way.

    it is still a very nice piece that made excellent power.

    do not let the #s put little Birdies in your head.

    i did and it drove me nuts,lol!!!

    over it know and moving on.

    like i posted earlier if the #s are bothering me very bad i could have driven down the road and gained at least 70 hp over what it made at Gears funny how that works

    okay here is what i think about the power it made.

    it has a Box style B&B pan.
    needed a Dan olson or Stefs.

    this is worth about 20hp imo

    the camshaft was wrong(another 20-30 hp)imo

    Foxwell was not fond of the old School Tunnel ram we had picked for the Build but did all he could to make it better.

    newer Design Tunnel Ram?i have no idea how much power is being lost?

    so if we figure the Pan and Cam that is roughly at least 50 maybe more?


    it has been asked why i dont Take the Grinder up on making me the Correct(or Better)cam.

    well imo it is not worth the time and effort.Plus the extra money!to gain what 20-30 heck maybe 40 at most!

    Really that is not enough for me to Justify doing.

    a Olson Pan is 700 plus

    another Tunnel Ram reworked shit could go as high as a Grand?

    i know the pan and Cam are costing power.


    my bet is the motor and boat are going to be a real runner.

    Travis this summer Y'all just need to "CLASS RACE" your class would be natural aspirated, no bottle class or "THE NO POWER ADDER CLASS" Hell you can write the rulebook.     Grady, what's gettin outta hand is the boats we bring to the lake. When I was a kid, 85 mph was king of the lake, nowadays, if u don't have over 550 ci, or a bigass shot of nos, then ur the turd. Plus when we get this fast, everyone wears their attitude and ego on their shoulder. I told my wife I'd be happy with 100 mph, and even tho I may never see itagain, I got it and I am satisfied. Its time to make this hobby fun again.
