I did a little checking today!

I called around today to check on my HP numbers and impeller performance! As per charts shown @ 6100 RPM with a B HiHelix I should be making around 797 HP! Then I started checking what power it takes to turn an AA and A standard SS impeller! If all of my thinking works () I should be turning a AA around 5300-5500 RPM then with the button pushed I may still reach the goal of 6000-6100! If, and this is a big if, it all works out I should hit some good runs this season!

I've thought studied and worried til I said to heck with it run what I got till it blows. Then I'll have to buy one. One phone call done deal. Coby I bet your on the right road now.

Grady, its a case of OVER THINKING! Oh well I will try it once or twice and see! I have too much time on my hands! I have thought about flipping,strightlining and spooning the bottom but I am going to leave that for next year!

Eh. I'd have to say only those that have dynoed, seen what a standard impeller chart says and have run a hi-helix impeller know for sure. Scott or Gearhead may know, but for sure Travis will if he still runs a hi-helix. I hope so. Gears dyno is real close to what a chart reads...sooo...at least seeing where Travs hi-helix B gets spun even the motor will spin it high would be good info.

so we will have the 540 Dynoed at Gears and see where he can spin the thing in his boat?

5800-5900 in Dads

ok so if you turnin a AA SS 5500 you are close to 100...then you spray it...you should be haulin ass...how's that sound?

I honestly don't know how comparable a HH-B is to an A or a B. is it between? Is it a little harder to turn than an A? I've heard Tiger say a hi-helix impeller will wreck a standard curve chart. Well, that makes sense since they aren't standard impellers. I can hypothesize that if he is turning a HH-B 6100, and ASSUME it's in the heat of summer (105-ish) and humid as fock...

He's haulin azz!

Toqure will play a big part in this! I am ASSUMING that the TQ is going to hold me back! Then the AA may end up an AA- or an A+ or some where in between! If I want more I will have to kick sumething up!
