Got some new ink

7-pointed Cherokee tribal star, for the 7 original Cherokee tribes. Figured I'd add a little something to reflect my ancestry.

Thanks Gary, I had found it on a site while searching Cherokee tribal designs a year or 2 ago. Wanted it high enough that a short sleeve shirt would cover it. My Chief has one that hangs down about an inch below the uniform and I didn't want it visible when out on patrol, some people are so stereotyped these days that it's one less thing to deal with. I would like sleeves too but agree it's way too hot here in Tx to try and cover up in the summertime

This was my first one, and I agree, people can think whatever they want...they're goin to anyway so it don't really matter to me either. Glad someone can still be a ladies man, my wife has me on too short of a leash

That's pretty sweet. I saw the 7 pointed star and liked it too. My son and I got our Cherokee Citizenship last year. I'm looking for a way to learn the language here in SoCal.

Thanks man. I got mine 2 years ago. The language seems kinda complicated for me. I wanna get my daughters name somewhere on me, this is it in Cherokee. Her name is Kynli Brianne Cook and how it's pronounced.

This is 2012, where do y'all live that tattoos are how people are judging you. I have 2, but only one is visible if I'm wearing shorts. And I have never felt odd about it except once, and that was when my father saw it. Of course he has no idea about the other one.

People are always gonna judge you from what they first see of you. There are more people around here that have them than not it seems like. I want to get more, just want them to mean something instead of just a random design or whatever is trendy for the time being.
