Default Do I need to change my prop???

I am running a 496 HO with CMI Sport Tube headers... I had them installed early summer. I am running a Bravo SS 24 P Prop. RPM when trimmed just right is running at 5000 RPM. I didnt notice a big difference in power ... maybe 1-2 MPH if conditions are just right. My question is, should I change my prop to a 26 or 28 P...

    Any feed back please...

I am running an HO with stock exhaust (but no turbulators) and am just touching the rev limiter (5150) with also a 24P. After valvetrain upgrades and my Lightning headers, I will be looking for a 26P. I say DON'T switch props until you are hitting the limiter. What you gain on the top, you will lose on the bottom. Especially with a cat hull.

I agree with Beer30, don't change the prop until you are starting to over Rev. It sounds like you are proped about right. You may have gained some bottom end and mid range with the new headers. It takes a lot of horse power to make a noticable MPH increase.
