    I use Brad Penn 50w in my BBC 580ci blown and injected on alky. Or if you are planning to do a lot of oil changes then use VR1 50w Valvoline.

    Don't freak out when you see the milky oil. It's the norm as the the methanol washes past the rings. Just plan on changing it regularly. I'd go with what your engine builder recomends. We used to run Kendall 50 wt back in the day, but times have changed. I'm very happy with Royal Purple at this time.
