Default New to Performance Boats - please identify

    Hello dlb...

Have my first performance boat purchase in contract and plan to pick it up a week from Friday. Can't wait! If it doesn't fall through, I'll have to change my user name to something more clever... maybe dBay sToker (... Discovery Bay Stoker)... the yellow 204 that lived up here for it's start in life. (or maybe... stoker stroker or poker stroker or ???)

First, I want to acknowledge Nice Pair for a whole lot of help with my selection process. My first choice would be his Talon but I'd go broke feeding it. Some day I hope to have a cat but for now the SST with 300XS will add some spice to my boating life. Maybe too much spice... as my insurance guy isn't sure he can bind it with that much horsepower , any suggestions?

I hope to see you out there in the south delta. I'm on the water 2-3 days a week and want to keep an eye out, so help me with who I should be looking for.

Welcome to the zoo, this one, and the delta. I go out of Orwood frequently during the week, cruise down to the ski beach or Union Point. Will keep an eye out for the new addition, I have an all white Cole TR-2 and a white with red and purple graphics Eliminator Eagle. Be safe it can be a jungle out there.

    Default welcome

Welcome to the zoo indeed. Great looking boat with an awesome motor. You should be very happy with it. I launch out of Orwood and am out around Disco Bay and Stockton most weekends. Lets have a cold one sometime. Where did that Stoker come from?

    Default "Tommy's" Boat

Nice pair noticed the boat similarity to "Tommy's" past 204. More digging... Tommy sold to Drew/Boatmasters and then to Jimmy (current seller) and now back to the Delta to me . Heading to John's Custom to meet seller on Friday AM. So... I'll be driving up I5 while you guys are tearing up Shasta.

Welcome aboard. Damn I miss that boat. I almost cried when I dropped it off at drews. Take good care of it and I'll buy a beer on the delta.

Welcome! Congrats on your upcoming purchase.

That boat/engine combo is capable of expanding your playground all the way up to Swabbies and beyond.

The Delta is thou oyster, which thou with 300XS/Stoker shall open.

    See ya out there!

Great boat. It was my brother's (Tommy). Spent many hours in the Screaming Yellow Zonker. My 22 year old son really, really wanted to purchase, but it was just not in the cards. Keep it in good shape on who knows? Perhaps it will make its way back to the family. Anyway, enjoy and hope to see it/you soon.

    Default Screamin' Yellow Zonker

SYZ... I like it It will be well cared for though I'm not sure if I'll EVER sell... based on all the sellers that regret doing so. Maybe one day if I can't get my gimpy arse in the boat... or can afford to feed two engines... or ???
