Default DLBer to sell a ELB and buy a DCB

After many years of great service we are considering selling our 1995 Eliminator Daytona "Familycat". I know they have the Spam section and it probably will end up there at some point but thought I would float the idea here first as many of you have seen the boat run. I am trying to get an idea of what it might be worth in a crappy economy. My feeling wont be hurt so don't try to make me feel good with inflated values of what I could actually sell the boat for.

Some details: total hours 490, outdrive redone at 275 hours, motor rebuilt at 375 hours.

509 cu. in full roller, mild port job on steel heads. All MSD. Holly 850 Edelbrock Performer RPM intake. Dual batteries, drive shower, nose cone, Nice stereo with JL amp 6 speakers with powered marine sub, cockpit cover, full cover. The boat will break 80 on a good day with a very light load but will run 70 plus in any situation.

Looking to to trade or purchase a used DCB Mach 22 with twins. Would consider other boats but have always loved those little rockets. Your thoughts please

    Hi Rick.
You seen my 21' Edge and you know it's condition. The hulls were very similar. The Edge was a little faster (bigger motor) and it was a jet. I think your hull is newer.
I sold it four years ago for a little over $20K. I hope this helps. Good luck. Al

I was hoping for mid 20's just not sure if this market will get it. That is why I am looking input, and if anyone in our group is looking for a used ride.

I will pass the word Rick. I think mid 20s is not out of the question, but it may take until the spring for real buyers to surface. I know of 5 twin Mach 22s out there for sale that are not being listed at this time. Feel free to call me when the time comes. Goodluck Drew @ Boatmasters of Livermore. 925-443-5775.

Good luck with the sale Rick. I will keep my ears open and if I hear of anyone looking for a 22 Daytona, I will send them your way.

    Thanks Drew,

Any help would be appreciated. I thought I had heard the the "2 nasty" boat was possibly up for sale. From what I remember it was pretty clean. Whatever the deal I will need to sell the Daytona before I make a move.

I did not know Ryan's boat (2 nasty) was for sale. None the less if it is that would be a good boat to look at. That boat truely shows like new and is already in the bay area. All the mach 22s I know about are in Havasu right now. I think we should have a few cold ones on the roof of your houseboat in the spring and talk about it!!!
