Default Well, we're just about at the end....

the movers are here as I write this. We are just about officially out of California. (though we are keeping the house and all accounts here)

Me and the family are moving to Grosse Ile, MI for a new job. My last day at PG&E was last Friday. This move puts us no more than 30 minutes from either of our parents/extended families.

The icing on the cake was the promotion and salary increase to become.... (drumroll please).... Supervisor of Nuclear Engineering Design - Fermi Nuclear Plant

We'll miss all you folks, and sorry I haven't been out to see a lot of you lately. The twins have been keeping us incredibly busy. However, with that said, boating is in our future. We did get lakefront property on Lake Erie that has our own private dock and hoists.

    Can you say "Costco Cruiser"???

Ah good ol' downriver Detroit. Have fun on Lake St Clair. I used to live in Dearborn and worked at the Comcast in Sterling Heights. Done lots of jobs around Grosse Point and St Clair Shores. Spectacular view down Lakeshore Dr. Michigan is a blast.

All right Derk spill it, what kind of mini van are you driving now?

Sad to see you go but I think it is a great opportunity for you and your family so I am excited for you all. Let me know when you get settled and Jill and I will come out and see you guys.

Be safe in your travels and take some time to smell the roses along the way. (Since you won’t be in California you might actually be able to smell something other than the smog)
