Default Anyone have a Plama hookup?

We are setting up our family room with new flat screen. We are looking to purchase a 50' plasma. We have picked out the Pioneer plasma model #PDP-5020FD. It lists for $4,000 but selling for $3,000 at most local stores and a little cheaper on the internet. I would prefer to buy local. With everyones connections I though somebody might have the "friend deal". Let me know as we are looking to make a purchase in the next couple months.

I call it the brain tube, I've been telling her the more time she spends on it, the smarter it's going to make her.

Hopefully someday but this purchse is for my family room. If we go for one on the houseboat we will go LCD as they are better in bright situations. In a darker romm the Pioneer is better than no other plat screen I have seen. It seems to be the most expensive also. Go figure.

    Thumbs up

Hey Rick, have you looked at the Panasonic TH-50PZ800U? It's rated just about as high as the Pioneer but quite a bit less expensive ($2,200 at Circuit City).

Yes, even the newer Th-50PZ850U. Best Buy has it on sale for $2,200. Probably a better value but definately not as good of a picture. After hanigng out with you guys it would be like boating in a Seaswirl with a V-6.LOL I think I gotta have the Pioneer. I just want to find the sweet deal if it is out there.
