Glad you asked Dog, I was wondering the same thing. I finally got my boat dried out from last year and looking forward to honoring our service men and women for their sacrifices and service.

    Lol ain't that the truth.
If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.

The event happening again this year is completely in the hands of Kevin Graves. He says he will be able to do what is necessary to make this event happen again, but I haven't heard from him for months. I will start a new thread if it looks like it's going to happen this year. Thanks for the interest, and I'd love to see it become an annual event, but I certainly can't devote the time and money every year that it takes to put on that event single-handedly.

Well, unfortunately the biggest "to-do" is the $$$, and I don't think anybody wants to spend what it takes to put that event on. Tents, tables, chairs, food/drink and t-shirts add up to around $6k. That is what Kevin Graves is working on - getting sponsorship $$$ for the event.

THere is lots of $$$ out there for this VERY MEANINGFUL PURPOSE that people are more than willing to put up ------ make a donation website and just ask and you shall receive.... If you need help with this than let me know, would be glad to help out.

Hope to see it happen again and again - these Vets deserve it.
