Come up north and stay at Embassy Suites in Old Sacramento. We are doing the North River this Sunday from Garcia Bend to Swabbies. Come on out!

    Sugar barge has nice campgrounds
If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.

We used to camp at Tiki Lagoon and Turner Cut all the time (Tiki had better docks at the time). The boats were always fine overnight. That was many years ago, so who knows now. I have seen some of the people that hang out on the Delta.

Stayed at both B&W Resort and Snug Harbor Resort cabins. B&W is older, less expensive. Preferred Snug's "snuggle inn" cabins (small single wide, modern mobile homes). B&W marina is totally protected. Snug is on wide slough that is supposed to be 5mph all the way across... but not always observed.

The Allison club uses B&W it works out nice with the protected marina

It really depends on how much money you want to spend, location on the Delta
and type of boating you want to do.

Steam boat slough has the Grand Isle mansion.
Stockton, did a very nice job on their Marina project. Hotels and board walk
Suisun city Marina.is very nice .
Pittsburg Marina also is very nice
We have boated from the Delta up into Napa and out thru the Golden Gate
    SF, has fishermans wharf.
Tell us, what you want to do and we will give you some ideas
If you ain't the lead dog the view is always the same !

Thanks guys for all the support, it was last minute for memorial day wknd and everything seems to be booked or requires 3 night minimum. We will definatly use this in the future, we just want to be able to stay out on the water and not travel back the 42 miles home to go back again on sunday. LOL

I will be willing to trade you commutes. LOL. The only bad part of a day on the Delta is my 2 hour drive home.

I have considered that, Peter wants to sleep on the boat but the wife doesn't, do we win 2-1?
