    Default windmill Cove

Rumor is it was way over the top this weekend. Sat- numerous arrests. Sun- closed early to control crowd. Party moved to Garlic Bros and they closed toavoid issues as well.

Any one visit and have some feedback? I don't want to visit these places if its out of hand.

We were there Sat and it was fine and not too crowded. I guess Sunday was off the charts.

I quit going towards Stockton years ago - all the places on the water are accessible in minutes by car from that armpit of a city. I've seen bottles thrown at boats on several occasions - not just fist fights. Think about it, would you drive to any bar in Stockton to go have lunch? There are so many great places on the water where you don't have to worry about trouble - Korth's Pirate's Lair, Giusti's, Wimpy's, Tower Park is normally nice (can get shady at night with all the campers), and then head North up the Sacramento and once in Sac there are all kinds of great places! Rio City Cafť, Crawdad's, Joe's Crab Shack, Virgin Sturgeon, Chevy's, Swabees - been to all these places and never seen any sign of trouble. If you like to head to the bigger water, Humphrey's in Pittsburgh has a great Sunday Brunch, then just past the Carquinez bridge on the left is Nantucket and of course out in Tiburon is Sam's. You can also dock at Pier 39 and enjoy any of your favorite San Francisco eats! The South and East end of the Delta has been over run by Delta scum years ago unfortunately..........

It was worsethan normal late in the afternoon Sunday but it was the Cinco de Mayo ofboating days so what do you expect. I saw more clowns on the water and on theramp than ever. I parked my rig in the farthest corner at Orwood so the trailerwouldnít get clipped and some phucktard managed to park his motorhome so closethat I needed a can opener to get it out. Windmill doesn't draw the finestcrowd but it's usually fine unless you stay there drinking till dark. No worsethan the Wild Idol and Iíve seen certain peoples mothers in there!

I take thefamily in there all the time, wife always frowns at the finer elements but itísnot too bad. Iím usually eyeballing things and split before the tops come offor the D bags start swinging. Donít need my kids seeing any of that nonsense atall. When Iím with the boys itís another thing all together but I still donít wantany part of the punk crowd, those things can get out of hand quick.

I agree thereare other places to go that are nicer, Giusti'sis one of my favorite spots but it doesnít offer much space for my kids to roamaround. Windmill has a nice lawn and itís a great place to sit and watch youguys blow up motors and drives! Even better when Adam wants to show off thebottom of his boat.

Welcome to the "time out generation". Now that the kids can control thier parents growing up this is what to expect because some stupid lawyer will sue thier parents if they so much as threaten to discipline. This generation is out of control, they also ruined Taco Tuesdays at Orwood.

Theres no repercussions to there bullshit...I layed the law down early to my kids didn't care where we were..If they foked up they got a Johnny on the spot discipline. And it shows when we are in public and with there manors and respect towards other humans just hope it sticks for the rest of there life. My son's are the wise ones now my daughter might be sent to me a as punishment. She is just like me as a kid. ...I gotta pray to baby jesus every night that she dont...lol

I would have to disagree with you OB (partially) and TOTALLY agree with you Anthony.... all my kids are of-age now and have total respect for people, their things and johnny law and know they will not get away with shit without repercussions or a concussion! .... thats just the bottom line.

and its not only the discipline factor, but it is also the EXAMPLE a parent displays to their children as to how they will act as adults. Remember that we aren't raising kids.... we are raising ADULTS!

Went in there Saturday night. We were staying at Tiki Lagoon. Drove up by car as we were having boat trouble. There was only one boat tied up but a a reasonable crowd. Rayzor is right about people driving in from Stockton. We heard about the afternoon but didn't see any trouble that night. There were at least 5 security guys there.
