Going for the week

Going for the week
I'll be there wed-sun.
we're planning on going Thursday-Sunday if we can find a place to stay.
HOLEY CRAP! So that's where the big dogs hang out. My boat would get swallowed up in that crowd. I don't think I'll be going.
You know, for my whole life I've wanted a boat like the one I finally have now. Even at 10 years old I used to stare at a Hot Boat mag for hours, dreaming of how cool it would be. Buying my boat was the realization of my longest dreams and desires. But being in your boats and seeing these other boats makes me wonder why I've wanted it so bad. Now I want a bigger one.
I'd better get a better job.
"I'd rather be lucky than good"
Seth, its kinda like going to a car show, You get to see all the kool boats you wish you could afford, ..
Ive never been before so I'm really looking forward to seeing the boats, poker run, shootout and street fair. Im thinking it will be like going to a boat show again but watching them all run. might even see some of the newest style silicone
SHIZIT SETH THATS A COOL START!! its where i and most started from i aint got no water rocket like the og's, but im proud of my lil vessel she does excacly what i need her to do!! and just think you are minus the boat payment
im sure with these very inteligent people we boat with they can have some parts and ideas to get your boat poppin wheelies and lunch running like the rest
Theres always someone with a bigger, faster or better boat, no matter what you have. The key is to enjoy what you got.
I'll never forget my first trip to Havasu. I was so proud of the boat I had fixed up, I towed it all the way there with a big grin on my face! When I got there I quickly realized that I had almost the slowest-crappiest boat in town, LOL... My wife and kids still talk about how much fun we all had on that trip. Thats what matters...........Beer me!
PS, when can we go rippin in that flattie??? I got a nitrous kit that will bolt on real easy!
Don't get me wrong guys. I still think it's cool, although it'll be even cooler once I get the engine put back together.
I just can't see it staying afloat too long in the middle of this group
Kinda like a chihuahua in a great Dane parade.
Seems an old flat or hydro holds a place in more hearts than mine alone. I have a feeling (just a hunch) we'll be seeing more of these types of boats on our lunch runs in the near future.
I only hold 16 gallons of gas. Not sure how many times I'll have to fill up for a lunch run. Any thoughts? Oops sorry, new thread for that one.
So who else is going to Desert Storm?
If I get my boat together????We will be there tues.-Mon. If I get my motor back there will be some LATE nights
