Default Run to Old Town Sac

Adam took Rob and I on a great run up to Sacramento in his 21 Daytona. Perfect day. Lunch at the Virgin Sturgeon.
    Finished up at Ski Beach.

    Default gas

We topped off in Sac, 18 gallons. We could have made the entire 160 miles on the 50 gallons we started with. We averaged around 60 mph and saw 104 mph a few times. We ran a 28p prop. Would have got better fuel economy with a 32.

Very cool! Sure beats the 160 gallons or so I burned today going to SF and back........... But we did cruise 100-120 and ran 140+ a few times. Glad you guys had a good time - that's one of my favorite trips! Adam has the perfect rig for that run on a smooth day like that.

Man, news travels fast! It wasn't bad once we were out there. But ya, driving using an IPhone for radar was a little unnerving to say the least. I was so worried we were going to get run over by a catamaran ferry running 40+ mph. I know they have radar though, so they would've seen us. I just tried to keep a fairly straight course so they could steer clear of me if needed.

Where did you guys launch from? Looks like a great time. I love that run. Someday I might get to try that again.

How long did it take you guys from the guisti's area? Was there any water hazards? I really want to make that run someday soon

I call it the brain tube, I've been telling her the more time she spends on it, the smarter it's going to make her.
