    Hi Brian.
You guys will have those things wore out before I get in the water.
I found a deal on 29" Mean Machine Cat hulls. They had a bunch of them damaged in a flood last year. They are selling the hulls and hardware for $90. Let me know if any of you are interested. The hulls were not damaged, just the electronics and engines.
I bought a new 50" hydro with the 26cc engine, cheap. Sold the engine for more than the whole thing cost. Getting ready to sell the hull and hardware now. This is how I am financing my Mean Machine project. I am going small. Trying to keep all my costs down. Al

have any of you guys owned unlimited hydro type rc boats? i was wondering if i put frt sponson skegs on each side if it'd help turnin to the lh. i don't wanna circle boat, rather make it for straight drag passes, then be able to slow alil and turn either direction. my miss vegas is on the way, and everyone is telling me not to ever attempt a lh turn thought about setting the bottom up on it like a sanger shovelnose hydro, have lil full sponson length skegs along the insides of the sponsons.

Dare to be different, if it turns out great you can claim you planned it that way.

I seen your post on the RC web site. It sounds like the Miss Vegas is the hottest thing around. Good luck with your new boat.
I use to race 1/8th scale Unlimiteds. Due to the torque of the engine and prop, they only turn well to the right. One skagg on the right sponson gives it a pivot point to work off. Turning hard to the left can cause a barrel roll. The left sponson is very light. We use to put ballast in it to balance the boat, even in a staight line. You can turn left, but use no throttle. For straight line runs, I would not use anything, but remember, the rudder is offset and it will always turn better one direction that the other. Get use to your boat and remember that at the pond. Just slow down for your turns. Have fun. Al
