Default Benicia to Porthole in 10' Addictor

A few Sunday's ago F14 and I decided to take our 10' Addictor out for a lil cruise. We launched at Benicia Marina and headed east. It was flat at my house but not long after passing under 680 bridge the water started to build a little, especially in a 10' boat. F14 did an awesome job keeping us mostly dry by zig zagging back and forth riding the waves and got us to Pittsburg Marina. We topped off the tank, almost 2.5 gallons, called my wife and asked her to meet us at Porthole with the truck and trailer because we were not going to chance going back thru that slop in our lil boat. We headed out from Pittsburg and the water laid down for us and had a smooth cruise under the Antioch bridge, thru Big Break and around the west/north side of Bethel Island. We made it to Porthole on roughly 5 gallons of fuel total for the trip and averaged 25-32.8mph with our 40hp. Our cheeks hurt from laughing the entire way but we did manage to have a few beverages waiting for my wife to show up. Thanks Tamara for coming to get us. Sorry so many of you have put your boats away. Hope to see you on the water soon.

Ain't never been accused of being smart!! The auto bilge only came on once, F14 did a great job driving thru the slop. Now I've been thru that area in a 30 Skater, 28 Skater, our 25 Daytona, 20 Stoker with Jon a few times, 18 River Rocket with Rick, and our 10' Addictor. I just love getting out on the water.

We might run the Addictor to Walnut Grove next. We had talked about going to Sacramento from B&W but there might not be enough daylight for that journey.

We had an EPIC boat run last weekend in Bill Erklands 30' Wellcraft Scarab Sport center counsel with twin merc 225s.
Launched in Bodega Bay,went due west 28 miles to Cordell Banks near continental shelf looking for bluefin Tuna.Whales and Mako shark sightings
No tuna so headed due Northeast 33 miles to Timber Cove.Caught near limits of Lingcod and freedove for limits of abalone.Back to harbor 25 miles for total of 86 miles in open ocean averaging 34 knots on lumpy 4-6 foot swell.filleted out fresh catch for dinner to finish off day. Thanks Bill

F14 and I had a great day a few months ago running this little boat up the Napa river. The pretty people in that area were really impressed with us that day, not that we gave a shit.

Its had everything from a 1962 6hp merc, 1954 "12" (yeah right) horsepower Wizard, 15 Merc, 20 hp Merc, Mark 35, Mark 58 and this. I am going to be producing these very soon... the 15 and 20 mercs were the best... it barely floats with the 50, but the acceleration is real yo! I have enough carbon to build 3, by calculations it would weigh 65 ish pounds made from carbon fiber lol. I found it in a snow bank at a defunct marina and had to have it.
