Default Had a little help from my sparkplug...

just wanted to thank don(hullshot) AKA SPARKPLUG @ highpower marine in disco bay for building me a very nice motor and getting my boat back on the water running awesome just down to prop testing

i killed my motor in shasta last year so needed a new one... i picked what was supposed to be a running hp500 . seller bought twin motors in a package which were supposed to be hp500's but were just gen 6 502 ho's(good thing it is a bowtie gm block) so he got burnt also and refunded a chunk of money. after some convincing from don he decided to build me one so the project was under way.don cracked the whip and had motor stripped down fast only thing good basically in good shape was the crank rods and pistons. long story short don polished a turd took a boat anchor and turned it into a great motor for my hallett we work the heads and bought all the right parts to build a great full roller gen 6 502 w/hp525 cam. he also canned all the factory bolt on stuff that hangs off of these motors. aluminum heads are in the near future first external steering his first motor on his hand built engine run stand!

again thanks don for building me a runner of a motor and as always keeping me informed of everything that needed to be done and making executive decisions when needed to keep project rolling!
motor started its life like this
