    Default Dam to Bridge...

In spite of the BS going on at Berryessa now, there was a Dam to Bridge run thing that happened a couple years or so ago right when I started posting on these forums.I missed out on it for whatever reason but I'm thinking that we could make it work now in spite of the BLM BS.

I'm thinking Saturday,May 9th. Anyone else want to make this happen?

Hey, Ive been lerking here. to old and not right kind of boat to keep up with you guys.
But, drove by Berryesa last weekend and spoke to the lady at the gate she said they would be closing in the first part of Apr and had to have everything removed by May sometime. I took that to mean they had to level the place.
Enjoy your threads. Ill wave if I see you out some time.

Hey Terry, That sounds cool. The only time that I was around folks boat camping I had a POS jet boat with no room for supplies.
Berryessa has a lot of beach front property available for over night camping/partying.

So far, Markley Cove is the only resort to publicly say they'll be open this season. There is also launching @ the free launch. That being said, the Napa Register reports that they are trying to get Steele Park, and Pleasure Cove to remain open this season as well. I personally thouht Pleasure Cove already had a contract signed, but I could be wrong. Anyway, the Bor say's there'll be camping @ Oak Shores, and Camp Berryessa (old Boy Scout Camp) as well this year. I'll keep checking back and try to make it as well. That'll be the weekend leading into my b day again. Drink Up!!!

Never having been to the Boyscout camp, would it be possible to launch off the shore like is done at CFW? Been by that area hundreds of times but never bothered to look to see if the shoreline would support a boat, trailer and a P/U or if there is even a gradual slope that would make bank launching possible. Any ideas?
