    Default Lodging on the river

Where's the best place to stay on the delta or sac river that allows us to keep our boat in the water over night, or just the best place in general on the water to stay. We're lookin for a hotel or cabins. Thanks for the info

I hear good things about B & W Resort. (middle Delta)

If you want to go farther up river (Sacramento) there are some more options.

The Delta King is an old river boat turned into hotel/bar with stage shows.

Delta King Hotel, Sacramento, United States of America - Lowest Rate Guaranteed!

There are hotels on the river in that area.

Embassey Suites is nice and close to all the Old Sacramento restaurants and goings on. Boat parking right in front.

Also try the Westin on the Sac River just south of downtown, they have a dock also and Scotts Seafood restaurant in right there.

Paul, Last I heard their dock still wasn't open. Has that changed yet? We used to get away with several years ago but once it sold they cracked down pretty hard on it.

Delta King and Embassy suites etc use the dock in Old Sac. Its not affiliated with them but they are all right next to it.

Could try Tower Park Resort. Formerly owned by KOA, recently purchased by Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort. They have slips and cabbins walking distance.

If they're booked, you could optionally keep the boat there and get a room in Flag City, only 4 miles down Hwy 12. I think there's a MicroTel there and a Best Western. They're right at the intersection of I-5 and Hwy 12 in Lodi.

Also, I've seen Homes for rent in Discovery Bay with docks... on vacationrentals.com (IIRC... I think that's the site)

Try looking into the Ryde Hotel on the sac. Private dock and a good Sunday brunch.

    We rented cabins at
    New Life Marina
    1200 Taylor Rd
    Bethel Island, CA 94511
    925-684-2166

Yes, it is a church group/rehab type place but not once did they attempt to push anything like that. They have some floating cabins and standard cabins down over the levee. The people are incredibly nice and the cabins are reasonable. We will absolutely go again sometime.

The Ryde is a cool place. Lot's of history, it's an old speakeasy.
