Default New Motor Is Payed Off!!!

Well guys, I just payed my machinist in full today. Hopefully he should have all the parts and the machine work completed by the end of next week. Then we assemble.

Hopefully I'll have her running by mid-May...early June at the latest. Then we shake it down!!!

    Let's roll...........

Rod, once she's running we'll definitely be runnin'. Matter of fact I'm looking at planning a "shakedown lunch run" for any and all who would like to participate. Haven't decided where we'll be going yet though.

707, my machinist has some other parts to order yet...balancer, flex plate, oil pump, head gaskets, rear main seal, cam bearings and freeze plug kit. Once he has everything all he has to do is balance the rotating kit and do the final hone on the block. I'll be picking everything up on the 5th of May.

I've arranged to take a week off of work to get this thing built. Provided all the clearances are correct, the assembly should go flawlessly.

    John,
post up your schedule. I'm flexible (no not that way) with my schedule, if you need a hand twisting bolts. Remember, 1/4 turn before the snap!

Mark it's lookin' like I'll be starting the build on May 11th. I took a week off work to get this thing built so I'll have 'till the 17th to have her running and the cam broke in.

If all goes well and we finish her up ahead of schedule I'd like to get her on the water for a shakedown run in that time as well.
