    Default Delta water level

What's up w/ the low water level on the delta? Is it because
of the locks being closed? I'm glad I didn't have the jet out,
the crap was at the surface floating everywhere. My friends
who used to live on the delta said they haven't seen it that
low before also. We had to make a trip to Paradise to ck out
the house boats for the 4th of July weekend, I'm looking
    forward to that!!

The level is a bit low. I took the Formula out last week and could have sworn I ran a ground near boat docks on the right as you idle towards Orwood Marina. I did not have my depth finder hooked up when it happened but I'm sure the water level was very low 'cause I churned up a lot of mud and weeds. I had to trim my outdrives up to make sure not to damage anything. I will have to refinish my outdrives and re-polish my cleavers before the next outing.... Oh well, shit happens! Just need to make sure to hook up the depth finder next time.

there was a -1' tide yesterday and along with the locks being closed, it's probably what you observed. When we had our place on the Delta years ago, we saw quite a few pretty darn low water levels.
There's also going to be minus tides for the next few days and then a -1.9' tide on the 25th of this month.....that'll be the one to see. Frank's Tract might look like a big mud puddle.
