Hate to disagree with T, but runnin100 with a repaired prop that was cracked is not a good idea.
That labbed prop is already cut real thin and trying to repair it?? I don't think I would trust it ever being fully repaired

I call it the brain tube, I've been telling her the more time she spends on it, the smarter it's going to make her.

    good points
I really hate the idea of welded props on my little pisspot, cause if it fails at 115+ yyou probably are getting wet
with that being said on a 25' daytona it would probably just vibrate and worst case take out your cavatation plate when it exits
good prop welders have been succesful at it
Tru Pitch Props over off of Auburn Blvd near Rex Hutchinson might do it if you sign a waiver

Kevin, I took my cracked lab to him to look at and he said he wouldn't even attempt it. Mine may have been worse then Todd's, but he even told me once they are cracked, they are more suseptable(sp) to coming apart again at high speeds. Last time I threw a blade my howard shook so violently I was afraid the whole transom was going to fall off.

Just weld it and run it! Unless it's an ultra-thin, labbed prop, then you may be wasting your time because it will probably not last long at all. Don't worry about the danger factor though, I've thrown blades and skegs off of all types of tunnels and cats ranging from 18' to 36' and never had anything bad happen. Like Kevin said, it will just vibrate if it throws a blade. You will want to carry a spare and also look into buying a new prop though, because once they've cracked and are welded, they are sure to crack again - and not necessarily the repaired blade. For that crack to appear in the first place means that the blades are fatigued and nearing the end of their life cycle. I cracked two blades on my last ultra-thin Lightning ET and caught them before they let go. I did not weld that prop though because I was told by the builder (Brett Anderson) not to. ALWAYS check your props for cracks before you run your boat.
