If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.

I just found out. Antioch is not doing fireworks this year due to budget cuts.
Thay normally spend around $80,000 on the 4th this year its gonna save some city worker jobs.

    Default Barron Hilton

who owns Hilton Hotels puts one on at Mandeville Island (Tip) / Venice Island in the Stockton Deep Water Channel every year. You will NEVER see a better or bigger display... you could walk a mile on boats and it's a party for sure, and I'm petty sure that the only way there is by boat because the land is private property. Just don't leave afterwards (too many maniacs) and plan on spending the night. You will see every kind of boat you can imagine & Barron flys his little black helicopter around all weekend. I believe it's been going on for over 30 years. Like nothing you will ever see, he spends big bucks because he enjoys doing it and sharing it with people. Quite a guy...
