here it is just as it comes from my mind to the keyboard:
ok, i had to modify it a little: God bless(ed you again) thank you Mr. Weller.
i had a great time with Soaker, Rat, Sunkist, Chet and theirs...the hotels were empty...unexpected. I did get to see some homies from down south and got a ride in a really nice boat (friggin ship), thanks to JR. I got to have some real fun with a jetski and it's fine and generous rider (he let me win one time).
Moparjet and his was there....i like Mopars...and got some more schooling on modern things going on in normal autos today
I really missed some of the people who would show up, sometimes with their very knowledgeable freinds.
I got to talk to Mr. Capps, at length. Willing to share with me (in the times i could force myself to keep my fool mouth shut) knowledge little known to men of my lineage. I was floored. What a Gentleman, Scientist and Sportsman. From resins to angles. I wonder if he is single.
Fake and Pops showed up with their new boat, and Mr. Capps, again at length, told me how he got them fantastic colors. I seen ol' Mighty Whitey too (of course with a sick paint job and fine new owners) and listened (as much as a turbulent mind allows) as Ervin made fully explained recommendations.
I seen a titanium pump shaft...thanks to Mr. Morris...i wanted to take it back to the hotel and put it to some tests, argue the things he told me about it... and of course he had his turbine boat. I kind of have to turn my back on the turbine boat until the jealous green fades. And he come over to help Soaker (another story, for which the world is not yet ready) ... 'magic fingers' ... NOYFB. So there.
Of course the regulars were there...some sneaking a camera around...i wont say their name but their initials are JOE AND KELLY BLADEN, possibly the sweetest people on the planet.
We did get to see Kojak, who might have me convinced on a small blower...'might'...he had a convincing argument...i want turbos, like Mr. Weller is doing...but men of my lineage....you get the picture.
Roger and his capsule boat...no finer gentleman...got to talk to him.
Teri, again, drove the boat and scared the passenger. She did a full nitrous run, tail high, past Jacks...as well as show Fat Rat (he problably already know this, as he has one too) that certain women aint nothing to take lightly.
So many good people...
I came back to the hotel (after just missing Moparjet and JR and Alli's) and Rat had left me a Bucca...i teared up a little, but did not cry.
Greatly, people treated me like i was really special...i suppose it was like that for most. Way it has always been...
OH FiCK FORGOT...them Lake Anna Motorsports guys stopped by...make me happy.
Please forgive me... i remember faces and personalities.....names, my home address....not available sometimes. A little Barleywine and a keyboard...never know what i might type. I would like those who know me to remind me of their names. You are what life is all about...and my wonderful wife comes with me and, for just a litte time, i can pretend i am worth it, maybe.
